Blue Bluegrass is a Kentucky blog about policy and politics. This blog gives complete confidentiality to all commenters and to all information sources. Absent a court order, confidentiality is assumed and respected.

This post title is from Cabaret, where the emcee showed the most disturbing possible form of wrongdoing— the conscious disregard and ignoring of injustice. Kentucky has a long history of injustice, and a long history of people willing to identify and work to change things. Too often in Kentucky the public good takes a back seat to an interest relating to the flow of money.


Of course, expressing views and sharing information on a blog is only the first step in making things change. Actually getting out and changing minds and policy are what will make Kentucky better. That doesn’t happen just from sitting in front of a computer screen. Upcoming events will be shared to help readers meet their need to be active to accomplish goals.


This blog is for anyone so inclined to speak up and identify things that must change. It is a source of discussion and news for politics, but also for the critical policies behind the politics. Anyone is welcome who wants to write their own posts as content on this site—anonymously, publicly, or cross-posted. Most of the best blogs are multi-voiced. Again, confidentiality will be honored.
