What’s That Sound? Everybody Look What’s Going Down

When questioning whether 2010 is a year where challenges need to be met with energy and insistence, consider this part of a posting by Kentucky state senator Brandon Smith in the online column for the Middlesboro Daily News:
With so many bills coming up for votes and a hurried committee schedule, it was a nice break for me to visit with Pastor Jeff Fugate over the phone. We had a chance to discuss significant issues from our area and get our heads together about the upcoming rally Pastor Fugate is organizing for February 20th which will highlight the importance of coal.
While it would be one thing if the purpose of the rally was to highlight the importance of coal, Fugate has a history of portraying a rally for one purpose (such as a Fourth of July patriotic rally) when in fact it turns out to have an entirely different purpose.
In fact, over at blogtalkradio, the full details have emerged on February 20th, 2010 and the Restore America Rally, in a piece penned by Jeff Fugate: Read this, and then consider what is important, and what should be done in the days, weeks, months and years ahead. Fugate writes of fighting, and battles. What kind of foundation was this country built on, what does it mean to have constitutional freedoms, and what kind of America should be restored?
Join us and other patriots at the
RESTORE AMERICA of KENTUCKY Rally
Saturday, February 20th, 12 noon – 1pm,
Steps of the Capitol, Frankfort, KY
(Dress for the weather)Dear Friend,
The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 11:3, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
America was founded on the solid foundation of the Word of God. These founding principles are engraved on the very walls and monuments of our nation and the coins we use each and every day.
The very basic principles of that foundation include:
(1) The Sanctity of Human Life
(2) The Dignity of Marriage between a man and a woman
(3) Religious LibertyThe very reason our forefathers came to this country was to flee religious persecution and come to a place where they could worship God in FREEDOM.
Mayflower Compact declares;
“Having undertaken, for the Glory of God and advancement of the Christian Faith and Honor of our King and Country, . . . do by these presents solemnly and mutually in the presence of God and one of another, Covenant and Combine ourselves together into a Civil Body Politic, for our better ordering and preservation and furtherance of the ends aforesaid.”I refuse to remain silent! I refuse to allow this foundation to be destroyed without a fight! I will not allow the Salt and the Light to be hidden under a bushel or within the four walls of a building. I will not only continue to speak out for Truth and Liberty and Justice within the church building, but will continue to take this message to public places such as radio, TV, public rallies, old-fashioned tent revivals, and the printed page.
On Saturday, February 20, 2010 there will be a huge Restore America of Kentucky Rally on the Capitol steps in Frankfort! I want you to attend and bring a car
, van, or bus load of people with you. Spread the word!I believe that the state of Kentucky can be a model state for pro-life and pro-family values. We can keep our state clean from the casino gambling
. We can make our state one that is God fearing.I will not remain silent while the religion of the environmentalists is being promoted! There are those that want to control or ruin our lives with regulations that stem from the lies of global warming and climate change. They want to regulate the coal business right out of business! They are moving toward the teaching of worshipping the creation rather than the Creator! God created the world for man to have dominion over, not for the animals to have dominion over man.
Though the battle rages today, my heart is encouraged by the increasing cries I hear across our state and our nation that says, “Let’s Restore America!”
Let’s not just work to stop the decay, but let’s work to return our state of Kentucky to the principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that our nation was founded upon!
Let’s go back to – A Restoration of Faith in God – A Restoration of Family Values – A Restoration of Constitutional Freedom – A Restoration of Financial Responsibility
Together, as born again children of God with a renewed faith in God and bold determination, taking a stand for Life, the Family, and Religious Liberty – we can not only stem the tide but Restore our Nation to its Foundation!
Sincerely,
Pastor Jeff Fugate

The document in question should be retitled to:
“The Born Again Evangelical Manifesto………..Theocracy Now”

The Mayflower Compact has nothing to do with the Constitution, Bill of Rights, the collected Amendments and promulgating statutes of the Congress and the subordinated states. None of what this loose canon quotes or cites is relevant to life today, except in communities that voluntarily adopt these measures and incorporate them in contractural relationships that form the communities.
Let it also be illuminated by the written word that these communities are cults: some of the most famous are Jonestown: famous for mass muder, Ali Baba Bagwan Shree Rajneesh: famous for a 15 minute soliloquy on “the F-bomb”. One of these two is dangerous – the X-ian, the other humerous – the Hindu.
There’s a message here.
