Jack Conway, Ben Chandler, David O’Neill, Jesse Crenshaw, Kathy Stein, David O’Neill, Charlie Hoffman, Sandy Varellas, Don Blevins and 250 of their closest friends rallied in Lexington to open the regional coordinated campaign committee office with a bang. The big news was made by Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Jack Conway, who confirmed reports from July that former President Bill Clinton would be coming to Kentucky this fall to campaign for Conway.
Conway pointed out that there was no mystery about who everyone at the rally was voting for—he said that was as obvious as the stickers on everyone’s shirts. He didn’t need to sell the crowd to vote for him. He wanted to convince the loyalists that their volunteer work was important this fall.
Conway moved into a different kind of speech, reminding the crowd that this election is about people hurting across Kentucky. And he laid out the specific ways that the opposition would hurt more Kentuckians, and why this race is important. It wasn’t a red meat, punctuated by applause speech. It was showing the crowd why their help was needed, and who stood to lose in this race. And it was effective. It motivated the audience, who afterwards more clearly understood the consequences for Kentuckians that this race presents.
Congressman Ben Chandler spoke too, calling the Republican Party the party of no, and that the choice offered was a return to the policies that had created the country’s current problems. He reminded Fayette County and the Sixth District out-of-county attendees that Jack Conway’s path to a win includes not just winning the Sixth District, but winning it by a large margin.

Lexington State Senate candidate Don Blevins spoke briefly too, asking the crowd to commit to each contact voters in the 12th District for his race against Alice Forgy Kerr (R-Burkesville). Blevins was following up from a successful downtown fundraiser the night before.

Now now, maybe Rand can bring Uncle Wayne along and he can tell us how we’re collateral to the Federal Reserve: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCF_7kspI7Y
Saw a bumper sticker that said,
“When Clinton lied
no one died.”
If I were a republican’t or tea-beggar, I would take heart that one of my icons [shrub, chimpy] wasn’t just a liar, serial adulterer and draft-dodger but also completely stupid enough to let all this happen – in the name of progress.
I don’t know which is more frustrating: the intellectual bankruptcy that preached that man & dinosaur existed in the same time and in the same place or the moral vacuum that ccontinues to support a political philosphy that flourishes within and re-enforces this intellectiual bankruptcy.

Oh! epif-anny [not epi-fanny]!!
Conway campaigns with a bang
and paul with a bong.
Or is that too-too obvious to be funny
To the dum Ass who posted this item about a President being a adulterous. Either You don’t get any or did not get any and that is why you continue to ride this horse. It has nothing to do with the issue at hand. The Fact is President Bill Clinton did what NO other President in the History of this country has ever done and that is to make this country Dept Free! On Wallstreet there use to be a Talley clock this clock kept track of the Money or (deficit of the country). President Bill Clinton was the only President that while in office and with the Bills and laws he in acted. Created the Best economic times known to man in 33 years. The Talley clock on Wallstreet read 000000000000000000000000000 which meant we the country of the United States was dept free and owed no one. After president Bill Clinton got out of office and Bush got into office he ran this country into the round. The Talley clock was removed from Wallstreet Because there was not enoungh numbers on the clock to show the dept the country OUR country now owes to China and other countries. Do you understand. We were dept free great economic times under Presdient Bill Clinton but under Bush who ran ever business he ever had into the ground and had to go back to Daddy to get more money to do it again. He did it with the country of the United States and Dum Asses like you played right into his hads with the stuff about a President that got him a little on the side. I will tell you any President that can run a country give the best economic times in over 33 years and give me 7.5 interest rate on my CD’s not only has my vote but deserves to get some on the side.
That person deserves a stress relief. Bush need some sort of relief maybe he would not have screwed this country up so bad that it going to take years to straighten it out.
