The Kentucky U.S. Senate race candidates were at Kentucky Educational Television in Lexington tonight for a debate. What had been a peaceful, good-spirited rally before the debate outside the studios turned very ugly, as Republican Rand Paul’s supporters showed their true colors. Republican Rand Paul’s supporters plain and simply attacked a Moveon.org supporter for daring to carry a sign that the Rand Paul supporters disagreed with politically.
Ironic that the same brownshirts who will stomp the head of someone who they disagree with politically wear buttons that say “Don’t Tread on Me”. If you know the name of this person, identify him in the comment section of this post, because this man should be facing jail once he is identified. This man ran away like the coward he is after he attacked a woman, intentionally hiding his face to avoid being identified for prosecution of his crime. This is the face of a man who assaulted a woman who he disagreed with politically. This man tried desperately to hide his face from being photographed because he realized he was facing liability for grabbing her from behind, pulling her to the ground and trapping her while she was curb-stomped. The victim of this criminal assault was a small woman, carrying a smallish sign (smaller than a yard sign) that said Rand Paul was Employee of the Month for Republicorp, and the victim was a political opponent of Rand Paul. But unless a totalitarian state has been imposed on the United States, disagreeing with someone politically does not mean that a person is subject to being dragged to the ground, held, and stomped in the head. Presumably, the attacker here realized it was still America, and that people aren’t supposed to be attacked for their political beliefs. That’s why in the photo below taken after the attack, the coward literally hides behind a Rand Paul sign, to obscure his identity:
Finally, here’s the ironic shot: the attacker who has just held a woman down while another attacker literally tread on the victims head against the pavement is wearing the Rand Paul sticker, and a “Don’t Tread on Me” button. It’s fine for him to hold down his opponents while another person literally treads on them, but “Don’t Tread on Me”. As further evidence of his awareness of his criminal responsibility, this attacker left on foot, hiding his face and not returning to his car out of fear for his license plate being able to be used to identify him for his attack.
Nice. Identify this person so he can face criminal prosecution.

And this guy was a county chairman for Rand Paul, has contributed $2,500 to his campaign, and is part of a Rand Paul group that has consistently talked about fighting, battles and combat as a substitute to the political process. This is not an isolated indecent. In NY a Gibson supporter attacked a MoveOn member doing the same thing. MoveOn had 4 people there with signs and there were about 60 Gibson supporters. At one point one of Gibsons supports moved behind the smallest guy there with MoveOn signs and shoved him to the ground. Several members of the group knew what was going on because they were blocking the video camera that was there and after the guy was back up they moved away from the camera. They taunted the guy with vague comments because, I’m sure, they knew the police would be involved. A couple minutes after the guy took off on foot and the cops were not sure which way he went even though the only place he could have gone was down an empty street or back into the Gibson event. Because he was a coward and was behind the guy it was hard to ID him even from the video.
This is not just one indecent from one guy. There were several there and those not holding her down did nothing to end it. The teabaggers are crazy and violent and the candidates and Fox “News?” need to stop inciting the violence. They need to stop supporting those supported that think those they disagree with should be attacked. They are no better then brainless mobs in many cases.
It was just reported by Katie Couric. With just a quick mention of it. The attacker has “apologized” for what he said may have looked forceful. SO basically he was saying he was sorry that he was caught on tape. And the candidate said he was sorry for “the unfortunate indecent” which means he was sorry it was caught on tape outside an event he was at by people wearing his campaign material. He should have came outside returned the donations to all those involved and told them to use it to hire lawyers and followed up with telling them to leave and not come to any of his campaign events.
That would have been the only exceptable reaction.
