Okay, B&P had it first.
But still…what the hell was old hair-flipping Republican candidate for State Treasurer K.C. Crosbie thinking, waving the confederate flag like this? It may be Kentucky, but still, it’s 2011, and a candidate for statewide office that puts her signs in front of this, and then intentionally promotes it has to be intellectually challenged…

By your logic, then, the state of Kentucky should demolish that monument, right? The Democrats were the Jim Crow party and you’re a tool.
Never said demolish it. But since you’re making a party issue of it, the Democratic Party is the party that passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Republicans are the ones that pander to the old Dixiecrats, that oppose any efforts to make up for the discrimination of the past and that are making nationwide efforts today to deny blacks the vote, including here in Kentucky with modern-day Jim Crow laws like those pushed by Bill Johnson and the Republican Party of Kentucky.
By my logic, Kentucky should never have allowed it built. Personally I think logic like yours should disqualify you as a voter, but the Constitution, says differently for you, blacks, Hispanics, homeless, women and homeless veterans who fought for your rights and now can’t find jobs here because your beloved republican’ts shipped’em all to Asia.
Pathetic Politics
Kentucky waited until the Civil War was over and then joined the losing side…the South and Democrats. Agree with Bob’s Ashill about this site.
Southern democrats are real republican’ts.
I know K. C. She is my aunt. You apparently know nothing because Barack Obama is a democrat and look at the situation our economy is in. I’m only 13 but I know my aunt should have won. She’s a republican, not a confederate. It boils my blood that people would dare talk about my family like that. Look where democrats have gotten us and then look at the success of republicans. That’s all I’m saying.
Consider the source, young Ethan. These people would vote for Saddam Hussein, Adolf Hitler, Osama bin Laden or Mike Krzyzewski before they would vote for a Republican.
Say what you wish about Democrats, but just remember it was Republicans who voted for W. Bush, twice.
No AuntieLibby!
It’s only republican’ts that vote for saddam, hitler, mussolini, dukes, binladin, quadhafi, faisel, khomeini, any old ethics-challenged flake of dandruff. As usual you’re lieing to an impressionable young man who like me was a 13 year-old republican — untill education raised me above the ignorance of republican’t philosophy, policy and aims.
Well, I have voted for a few people and regretted it, as I am sure most people have. One thing I haven’t done though… I haven’t voted for a self-professed witch. I’ll leave that to the tea-partiers.
Or Roy Williams.
